I Would Describe Myself As Fellas!

My name’s Rachel.. and here’s a bit about me.

I graduated with my Legal Assistant Diploma in 2008, and took off to Alberta as soon as school ended. Living and working in the Rockies was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! When I came home from there, I tried out the legal thing for a while, and realized it really wasn’t for me.. so to the west I went again. Manitoba was where I called home for a while, and that was an interesting experience – there’s not a whole lot out there! Once I came home, I continued working in the hospitality industry, and have recently moved up with a large hotel chain.

I’m a pretty easy going person! I love doing random and spontaneous things on a whim.. (like walking by a tattoo shop and deciding on the spot to get one – definitely did that).. or going on awesome roadtrips with no plans whatsoever. I’m a huge lover of roadtrips, PS. But at the same time, I’m also pretty reserved. I have a solid job, and I have no problem staying in on a Friday night to watch a movie! I love pubs, and don’t really love chain restaurants. Clubs aren’t my favourite place in the world, but I do love going and dancing with the girlfriends every once in a while.

I love a lot of things.. some of those things include: Strongbow, bonfires, cottages, camping, the great outdoors, music, concerts, tattoos, knitting (yup, got a little g-ma in me), baking, fireplaces in winter, travel, roadtrips, friends, pubs, iPhone (just recently switched to the dark side).. and about a million more things. Some of my absolute favourite bands include: The Fray, Say Anything, Dashboard, Spill Canvas, Boyce Avenue, A Day to Remember, City and Colour, The Format, Mumford & Sons and Something Corporate. But I’m not going to lie.. you’ll definitely find a little bit of everything on my iPod (maybe even the Jo Bros – yep, I admitted it). And when I’m not dealing with guests all day, you can find me at the gym after work, trying out a new restaurant, eating sushi, in the Starbucks Drive-Thru (frapps are my favourite in the summer), or doing a little shopping – not all at once of course.

Now, what am I looking for? Well, I’m looking for someone who is completely awesome, so if you fit the bill, send a message my way! Also, if you’re hilarious, that would be great. Anyone who can make me laugh, can have my heart! Besides that, I don’t have many specifics!
