I Would Describe Myself As The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present (Abraham Lincoln). How can any of the beliefs of the past be used for today's world? The world has become increasingly small and faith even smaller. People have become thinkers. Not in the way of thought but in the wake of growth our minds have opened. With growth you lose a piece of the past, leaving behind ways of old and taking in the beating wave of the new. Right now I'm surfing this wave of possibilities and looking to land on a shore of understanding. But in the mean time I am having a wonderful time meeting, learning, and growing from every person, place or thing I encounter. My goal in life is to live in the present when at all possible. I never want to wake up and say, "Damn shouldn't have let that chance slip away". If I want to live a life of contradiction where up is down and down is left, I want to do it! I don't want to wait for that, "breakthrough chance" which may be possible, what, next year? I want "anything is possible NOW! Today, today, today is my key! Tomorrow's door may never open for me but I know I kicked open today's!
