- Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als I've had an interesting life. It hasn't been easy, but I feel blessed to be where I am at and I'm stronger because of my experiences. I would like to meet someone who complements me and that I want to have around, not that I need to be around. A little about me: I'm a recovering alcoholic and drug addict that has been clean for over 5 years... so if that's something you think you have a problem with, we might not be a good match. ;-) I strongly believe everything happens for a reason, so there's not a whole lot that I take personally. I subscribe to the philosophy that you're responsible and accountable for your actions and feelings... and I'm responsible for mine. I'm a deep thinker, consider myself insightful, and am fascinated by human behavior. I am expressive - I like to get into deep and uncomfortable conversations... and I'd like someone that enjoys the same. My main priority is raising my 11 year old son. For me and dating, it's all about quality - not quantity. I would like to take a little time for you to get to know me, and for me to know you... so we can both see if we think we might make a good fit for each other.
