- Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als sometimes people over think everything; and it ruins it. maybe if we followed our hearts more, and thought less, the way we interact and conduct relationships with other people would be different. don't analyze your pleasures. making an effort, with strangers, friends, significant others, its a dying art. people no longer appreciate the efforts people will make to please others. advances go unnoticed, kind words fall on deaf ears, people have lost the ability to try. i don't consider myself a romantic, but i still believe somewhat in chivalry. no matter what the relationship, plutonic or otherwise, i try to appease the other person, because that's what should be done. a person should try to make others happy, try to create that smile in their eyes, the spark in their heart. try. it truly is, a dying art. finding someone like me, someone who takes comfort in the little things, small acts of kindness and effort that completely make my day, it is a seemingly fruitless journey. i enjoy making others happy; it gives me satisfaction to know that whatever i said or did, or didn't do, no matter how big or small, impacted their day for the better, that puts a smile on my face. i wish others could do the same.
