I Would Describe Myself As I am light-hearted and easy going, a little socially awkward sometimes (I am an engineer after all) but will be the first to laugh at myself. I like to laugh (and really, who doesn't?) and have a simple, if not sarcastic, humor about me. I have several tattoos, I rarely drink alcohol and I don't eat meat anymore, but I still love to cook. I would much rather go with the flow of life but that doesn't mean I don't have goals.

I can find joy in just about anything with good company, it's more about the who than the what; but my preferred "what" would be outdoors. I try to exercise every day and stay generally active since I'm stuck sitting most of the day for work and school. I also practice tai chi and/or yoga most days and am trying to get into a routine. I also just got a kayak and am really enjoying getting out on the water, I think next time I'll take my dog with me.

I know that a good relationship doesn't mean that I find a woman exactly like me, but rather someone that can complement me as a person. Similar interests are important so is having our own lives. I want to find a friend first and foremost, a partner and an equal. Respect, honesty, compassion and understanding are very important to me, both for who I am and who I am looking for. Compassion for everyone is number one in my book, and remember, animals are people too.

A great General once said "Sharing tea with a fascinating stranger is one of life's true delights." A good cup (or a few) of tea (or coffee) and conversation would be a great start to not being strangers anymore.
