- I Would Describe Myself As
44 years old, physically feel a lot younger, mentally feel positively teenage!! I'm a little bruised by the trials and tribulations of life but still positive enough to believe in love. Confident enough to be the 'life and soul of the party'but honest and realistic enough to know I may need a little help when it comes to dating. Old enough to know I'm not God's gift but young enough to still enjoy being unwrapped. Wise enough to know it's not all roses but daft enough to still want to feel butterflies.
It seems a lot of people are looking for people with 'no baggage' but I think anyone who is my age and says they haven't picked up more than their fair is very probably lying. I'd prefer to call it 'life experience' and I think it makes me what I am and that's an honest and genuine person, a fiercely loyal friend and a passionate, loving partner.
I have a huge love of films and cinema and desperation to learn about new technology, (I'm enjoying my iPhone very much just wish I knew how to use it!). I'm just as happy laying back and watching a DVD, (see! That's that new technology stuff!), as I am getting dressed up and doing the town. As happy with a couple of sweet sherries and a bag of peanuts in a bar as I am with a 5 star meal, a take away or a home cooked meal. I have a, sometimes slightly warped but, great sense of humour and I love, love, love to laugh.
I don't really know what to expect from this on line dating thingy but if I make some new friends then it certainly won't be a waste and as my dear old Grandma used to say, "if you don't ask, you don't get"! - Sign Gemini
